Archdiocese Lublańska

(Latin: Archidioecesis Labacensis , words.: Nadškofija Ljubljana) - Slovenian Catholic Archdiocese located in north-west of the country. Archbishops seat is locate d in the Cathedral of St.. Nicholas in Ljubljana. Lublańska Dioc ese was established by Pope Eugene IV bull of December 6, 1461, with the separation of the Land, one of the countries of the crown of the Habsburg Monarchy Akwilejskiego Patriarchate. It was directly subordinate to the Holy See.
